Les talents ne changent quasiment jamais en PvE pour le mage givre, d'autant plus facile pour maîtriser complètement la spécialisation !

2. Priorité de sorts en Mythique+ / AoE (4 cibles) :

4. Concepts clefs :

Le gameplay du mage givre tourne entièrement autour du passif https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=12982/fracasser. Celui ci multiplie votre score de coup critique contre les cibles gelées par 1,5 et rajoute 50% de chance. Concrètement si vous avez  :

20% de crit x 1,5 => 30% + 50% => 80% de chances de coup critique contres les cibles gelées.

De plus les passifs https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=112965/doigts-de-givre et https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=190447/gel-mental modifient considérablement la rotation. Les procs de doigts de givre doivent être consommé immédiatement. Les procs de https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=190447/gel-mental doivent être consommé en conjonction avec un sort incanté ET un javelot de glace. Voici les 3 configurations possibles :

https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=44614/rafale est plus rapide que tout sort incanté lancé AVANT et tout sort instantané lancé APRES, ce qui va permettre à ces deux sorts de considérer la cible comme étant gelée et donc augmenter leurs chances de critiques grâce à https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=12982/fracasser.

Gel mental fait bénéficier au javelot de l'effet critique, c'est pour cela que tout proc de doigt de givre doit être utilisé avant d'utiliser gel mental, pour éviter de perdre un stack de doigt de givre.


Il faut rappeler que https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=257537/%C3%A9clair-d-%C3%A9b%C3%A8ne peut instantanément profiter de son proc de https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=190447/gel-mental en utilisant directement https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=44614/rafale (et donc https://fr.wowhead.com/spell=30455/javelot-de-glace) à la fin de son incantation. Cependant il ne faut pas oublier que ce sort a pour principale vocation de vous fournir un proc pour la pointe glaciaire ; il ne faut donc pas en abuser et l'utiliser que dans des cas spécifiques, comme une cible prioritaire à éliminer et si vous savez que vous n'aurez pas la pointe à temps.


En dehors de son kit de dégâts, le mage givre apporte de nombreux sorts utilitaire à son groupe ainsi qu'à lui-même, pensez à utiliser :
